Welcome to the Beaconside C of E Primary School and Acorn Nursery Parent Link Group. Here you can find out about the aims of the group, details of the Year Group Representatives, and minutes of our meetings.
The Parent Link Group was established in March 2018 to improve communications and form a link between parents / carers and school. The group will support and promote the school with parents and in the community and also provide feedback to the school on matters of concern for the parents.
Parent Link representatives are a point of contact for parents / carers in relation to general queries, concerns, and positive feedback. If there is anything you would like to ask, anything you are concerned about, or anything you would like to commend, you can do this through your Parent Link representative.
Facebook pages are available for all year groups. It is felt this is an easy and convenient way for Parents/Carers to communicate with each other and their representative without having to go through the school office. ‘What is this week’s dressing up theme?’ ‘We’ve lost our homework – help!’ are the types of questions for the Facebook page.
To join, simply search for ‘Beaconside Parent’ in the Facebook search facility, and send a join request to the relevant year group. Any problems locating these pages, please contact your Parent Link representative who will be only too happy to help.
Our thanks to Mr Page and the school for giving the parents and carers an opportunity to be more involved with, and informed about, what happens in school, and to allow our voices to be heard.
