We plan our religious education curriculum in accordance with the Carlisle Diocese Units of Work and include the 8 theological concepts within the Understanding Christianity approach. We ensure that the topics studied in religious education build upon prior learning. Our curriculum enables children of all abilities to develop their skills and knowledge in each unit and allows opportunities for spiritual development. We ensure that planned progression offers the children time to explore and question different elements as they move through the school.
