Acorn Nursery

The children can choose to wear an Acorn Nursery jumper, and school uniform or home clothes if they wish, whatever is most comfortable and practical as the children will be doing lots of different and potentially messy activities!

                                    

 

 

 

Reception, Key Stages 1 and 2

Children can wear:

• Black or grey trousers, skirts, dresses or shorts
• Blue checked dresses in the summer term
• White polo shirt
• Royal blue school jumper or cardigan.
• Sensible dark shoes

YOU CAN PURCHASE YOUR CHILD'S SCHOOL UNIFORM ANYWHERE, BUT EMBROIDERY FOR THE SCHOOL BADGE ON JUMPERS AND CARDIGANS IS AVAILABLE AT LAKELAND EMBROIDERY AND SAM SCOTT'S, PENRITH.

Please ensure that all items of clothing are clearly marked with your child's name, so any lost items can be found and returned as quickly as possible.

 PE

PE kit should include:

• Plain white PE T-shirt
• Black shorts/skorts
• Outdoor PE pumps/trainers 
• Spare socks

For the cooler months, your child may also wear

• Black tracksuit bottoms or black leggings
• Black hoodie or zip-up top 

These should be kept at school during the week.

Beaconside bags to hold PE kit can be purchased from the school office.

On sports day, pupils can wear a plain T-shirt of their house colour.

Outside clothing

It is useful if your child can bring a pair of wellies and a waterproof jacket to school so that they can learn and play outside even when it is wet.  These can be kept at school.
