I am so glad you found us!

We are a warm, welcoming and inclusive school community where high expectations go hand in hand with a love of learning, a spirit of curiosity and a commitment to finding joy in each day. Rooted in our Christian foundation, we believe that every child is unique and deserves to feel valued, challenged and inspired to flourish.

Our vision, ‘Learning to Live, Learning to Shine’, is at the heart of everything we do. Through exciting learning experiences, strong relationships and a wealth of opportunities beyond the classroom, we help every child discover their strengths, develop a love of learning and shine in their own special way.

I feel incredibly fortunate to lead Beaconside, a school where the children, staff and families make each day both meaningful and rewarding.  Working alongside our dedicated leadership team, Sara Prickett and Emma Short, our Assistant Headteachers, and Nick Page, our Executive Headteacher, together with our talented and committed staff, we work hard to ensure that every child feels safe, valued, supported and inspired to achieve their very best.

I am incredibly proud of our children, our staff and the wonderful families, governors and wider community who make Beaconside such a special place. It is the warmth of our relationships and the sense of belonging that truly make our school shine.
