As Head of School, it’s a real joy to be part of such a caring and vibrant community. Beaconside is a busy, lively school, and although we are a large school, we work hard to make sure every child is known, valued and supported as an individual.

Our vision is rooted in our Christian values of hope, compassion, faith, joy and courage. Our Christian values sit at the heart of school life, shaping our relationships and our learning. We work closely with our local church and believe education works best when school, families and community walk the journey together.

Children are at the heart of everything we do. Through engaging learning, outdoor play and specialist teaching in sport and music, alongside a strong focus on wellbeing, we support children to grow in confidence, curiosity and character.

We have high expectations, balanced with kindness, inclusion and positive relationships. We celebrate success in all its forms and place real value on how our children care for one another and the wider community.
